MatchBox Consulting Group is representing an exciting, well-established Vancouver real estate development and construction firm seeking a Project Accountant who is a true Procore power user.

This role sits at the centre of active construction projects. If you’re the person PMs rely on because you actually know Procore—costs, commitments, draws, and reporting—this will feel like home.

The Role

You’ll own full-cycle project accounting across multiple construction initiatives, working day-to-day with Development, Construction, and Project Management teams.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Full-cycle project accounting, including WIP, job costing, and draw processes

• Budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis with PMs and management

• Managing project invoicing, subcontractor reconciliations, and cost controls

• Producing monthly project reporting (cash flow, pro formas, job costs)

• Maintaining clean project GLs and supporting year-end reviews

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of project / construction accounting experience

• Hands-on Procore experience is mandatory

• Exposure to Sage 300 / Timberline and construction workflows

• Strong Excel skills and comfort working in an in-office, collaborative team

• CPA designation in progress (or planned)
