MatchBox Consulting is on the hunt for a Transmission project Manager. The Project Manager leads medium- to high-risk, complex infrastructure projects. This role manages cross-functional program teams, external contractors, and consultants to deliver projects safely, on time, within budget, and meeting quality and scope objectives. Strong planning, communication, and organizational skills are required to coordinate multiple deliverables across diverse teams.

Contract: 1 year

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage contractors and consultants to deliver work packages safely, on schedule, and within budget.

• Lead work planning meetings and implement capital and maintenance programs.

• Develop and execute strategies to maximize program efficiency and delivery.

• Drive process improvement initiatives across programs.

• Collaborate with engineering, operations, construction, procurement, and safety teams.

• Monitor program progress, implement change control, and provide regular reporting.

• Approve procurement commitments and payments for assigned programs.

• Evaluate and implement innovative technologies, processes, and tools to enhance delivery.

Education & Skills:

• Post-secondary degree in Engineering, Technical Trades, Business, Finance, or Sciences, or equivalent experience.

• Strong program/project management, delivery, and contracting knowledge.

• PMP or equivalent certification is an asset.

• Exceptional communication, leadership, and analytical skills.

• Ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams and oversee contractors.

• Advanced Excel and project tracking/reporting skills.
