MatchBox is representing a well-established and highly respected commercial electrical contractor with over 40 years of success in the Lower Mainland. This organization delivers complex, high-profile projects across commercial, institutional, high-rise, laboratory, restaurant and tenant improvement sectors.

They are seeking a Commercial Electrical Foreman who leads from the front — someone who values professionalism, safety, and quality workmanship.

The Opportunity

This is a field leadership role responsible for managing crews, driving production, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to a high standard of workmanship.

Key Responsibilities

Field Leadership & Production

• Lead and manage site crews to meet daily and weekly targets

• Plan work sequences and site logistics to stay ahead of schedule

• Train and mentor apprentices and journeymen

Quality & Safety

• Enforce a safety-first culture

• Maintain workmanship standards and code compliance

• Identify and resolve deficiencies in real time

Project Coordination

• Interpret complex drawings and resolve installation challenges

• Work closely with Project Managers and senior site leadership

• Utilize digital tools (Procore, Bluebeam, CAD/BIM preferred)

Qualifications

• Red Seal Electrician (required)

• 5+ years commercial construction experience

• 2+ years in a Foreman or Lead Hand capacity

• Strong blueprint reading and problem-solving ability

• Professional, direct communicator

Compensation & Benefits

• $48.75 – $62.39 per hour (based on experience)
