MatchBox Consulting Group is seeking a Recruitment Coordinator to work on a 6 month contract, with potential for extension, for our client, one of BC’s largest clean energy companies. 

This is a hybrid position based out of our client’s Downtown Vancouver office 2 days per week. 

Responsibilities: 

• Maintain regular, clear, and concise communication with Recruitment Partners and the team to support applicant screening, selection, and hiring processes.

• Execute legally compliant job postings on internet and print sites, refreshing or removing as needed, and optimize for maximum return on investment.

• Coordinate and schedule candidate interviews, including non-posted recruitment hires.

• Assist with initial applicant screening using supporting scripts and report findings to the Recruitment Partner.

• Confirm candidate eligibility to bid (e.g., Time in Role) and coordinate required testing assessments.

• Organize candidate travel and manage reimbursement processes.

• Communicate test and medical results and coordinate start dates with clients and candidates.
• Manage recruitment processes such as background and reference checks to ensure timely and accurate completion.
• Provide updates and feedback to managers to support timely decision-making, and assist in sourcing and pipeline development for specialty roles.

• Serve as first point of contact for applicant inquiries, handle candidate and manager questions when Recruitment Partner is unavailable, and support process improvement initiatives.

Requirements: 

Must haves:

• Experience coordinating interviews
• Invoicing experience
• Strong administrative skills, including prioritization
• Ability to manage high-volume workflows and engage with multiple stakeholders
• Candidate must have their own laptop

Nice to have:

• Experience supporting union recruitment roles
