MatchBox Consulting Group is recruiting on behalf of its client for a Contract Professional (Level 2) to support contract performance and supplier management within a complex operational environment.

This position is well suited to a professional who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, leading cross-functional initiatives, and driving value through strong contract and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities:

• Manage contracts of medium to high complexity, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and organizational requirements
• Monitor contract performance, identify risks and opportunities, and take proactive action to ensure successful outcomes
• Act as a key liaison between suppliers, stakeholders, and internal teams to support effective communication and contract execution
• Support contract performance management, including tracking usage, reporting, and ensuring alignment with financial and operational objectives
• Lead and support cross-functional teams in contract-related initiatives, including process improvements and change management activities
• Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on contract management, procurement processes, and sourcing strategies
• Analyze contract data, identify trends, and communicate insights to support decision-making
• Support supplier relationship management, including resolving issues and driving performance improvements
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to optimize cost, efficiency, and contract outcomes

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Economics, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 9 years of contract management experience
• Strong experience working with cross-functional teams in complex environments
• Proven ability to analyze data, identify trends, and communicate findings clearly
• Experience influencing stakeholders, managing risk, and optimizing costs
• Experience leading projects or change initiatives in a structured environment
• Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Advanced English communication skills, both written and verbal
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License

Assets:

• Experience within utilities, public sector, or regulated environments
• Exposure to engineering, construction, or technical projects
• Certifications such as SCMP or WCC
