Mission, BC | Full-Time | $100K–$130K + Bonus + Benefits

MatchBox Consulting Group is working with a growing, entrepreneurial manufacturing company in the Fraser Valley that is scaling quickly and investing in its next phase of operational and financial maturity.

This is not a maintenance Controller role. This is a build + lead + optimize mandate.

What You’ll Own

• Lead the full finance and accounting function (day-to-day + strategic)
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning alongside leadership
• Deliver clear, decision-grade reporting on performance, margins, and cost drivers
• Own financial statements, audits, compliance, and lender reporting
• Manage job costing, product profitability, and pricing insights
• Oversee cash flow, debt, banking relationships, and covenant compliance
• Support SR&ED claims and funding initiatives
• Build and improve systems, controls, and scalable processes
• Lead, coach, and develop the finance team

What You Bring

• CPA designation (required)
• 2+ years in a Controller or senior accounting leadership role
• Experience in manufacturing or product-driven environments (strong asset)
• Strong grasp of job costing, inventory, and operational finance
• Ability to move between detail and strategy without losing pace
• Comfortable in a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves environment
• Systems mindset — you don’t just manage numbers, you build better ways of working

Compensation & Benefits

• $100,000 – $130,000 base (midpoint-focused, depending on experience)
• Bonus potential
