MatchBox Consulting Group is excited to partner with a well-established construction contractor in the search for a Superintendent to join their growing operations team.
With a strong reputation built over 25+ years in the construction industry, our client has become a trusted partner on residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects throughout the Lower Mainland. As their project portfolio continues to expand, they are looking for an experienced field leader to oversee multiple active sites and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
This role is ideal for a hands-on Superintendent who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, managing crews, coordinating with stakeholders, and keeping projects on track from startup through completion.
Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day field operations across multiple active construction projects
- Coordinate site crews, subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders
- Monitor project schedules and proactively address site challenges to maintain progress
- Conduct site inspections, quality control reviews, and deficiency walkthroughs
- Support manpower planning and resource allocation across projects
- Coordinate material deliveries and site logistics
- Prepare progress reports, site documentation, and project updates
- Ensure work is completed in accordance with project specifications and company standards
- Promote a strong culture of safety and ensure compliance with site requirements
- Lead toolbox talks, safety meetings, and site inspections
- Mentor field personnel and support workforce development
- Track company tools, equipment, and site resources
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent, Foreman, or Site Supervisor capacity
- Strong understanding of residential, commercial, and mixed-use construction
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Proven ability to lead field crews and coordinate subcontractors
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of construction safety requirements and best practices
- Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel between project sites
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive salary ranging from $85,000 – $110,000
