MatchBox Consulting Group is currently recruiting for our client, a leading company in the logistics and transportation sector based in Surrey, BC. We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join their growing accounting team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated accounting professional to step into a leadership role within a fast-paced, dynamic industry. If you’re experienced in AP tasks, love working with numbers, and are fluent in English, we’d love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:
•    Accurately process invoices and perform three-way matching
•    Handle vendor payments via EFT, wire, credit card, and cheque
•    Review and audit employee expense reports for compliance
•    Reconcile credit card transactions and ensure precise data entry
•    Perform intercompany entries and account reconciliations
•    Set up and maintain vendor accounts in the financial system
•    Prepare accruals and assist with month-end close activities
•    Generate aging reports and follow up on outstanding items

Qualifications:
•    Proven experience in Accounts Payable or a similar finance role
•    Strong data entry and reconciliation skills with a keen eye for detail
•    Fluent in English (spoken and written)
•    Proficiency with accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
•    Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
