The successful Assistant Site Superintendent will possess 10+ years of experience working in construction for a General Contractor in Canada, have completed at least one ICI new build project from start to finish as an Assistant Superintendent, and possess excellent communication skills. Responsibilities

• Monitor work performance to ensure project rules, procedures, and safety requirements are followed
• Work with the Superintendent on planning and managing the work site to ensure the drawings and specifications are being followed
• Maintain and analyze up-to-date cost reports and submit necessary changes to ensure the project is delivered within budget
• Advise Project Manger and Superintendent of potential problems, work interference, and schedule difficulties and assist in resolving them

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience working in construction for a General Contractor in Canada
• Experience as an Assistant Superintendent on at least one ICI new build project over $10M in Canada
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Proven problem-solving skills
• Effective supervision, coordination, and scheduling abilities
