Job Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled Business Decision Support Professional to join our team on a one-year contract, with the potential for extension. This role focuses on using data to drive strategic decision-making, support business initiatives, and improve reporting processes in a complex, regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze business processes and user needs to provide actionable recommendations.
• Translate complex data into strategic insights that support business goals.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and tools to visualize and communicate data effectively.
• Facilitate decision-making across diverse stakeholder groups using strong communication and influencing skills.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on business priorities and project implementation.
• Continuously improve business analysis and reporting tools/processes for better efficiency and clarity.
• Prepare and present findings and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership teams.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 8 years of experience in strategic business analysis or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Statistics, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience querying and analyzing large datasets using:
• SAS
• MS SQL Server
• Strong technical skills with data analysis and visualization tools:
• Power BI 
• Tableau
• VBA
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Hands-on ETL experience in data preparation and transformation.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills in English.
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships across teams.
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to challenges.
• Experience working in a complex, regulated industry is a plus.
