We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Civil Engineer to join our multidisciplinary engineering team. This role involves leading the design, construction, and delivery of municipal infrastructure projects, working with clients and stakeholders to develop innovative, practical, and sustainable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and contribute to the design and construction of municipal infrastructure, including pump stations, sanitary and storm sewers, forcemains, water mains, and PRV stations.
  • Prepare conceptual, preliminary, and detailed designs for public and private sector projects, including calculations, specifications, and tender packages.
  • Deliver site-based services such as construction inspection, contract administration, and coordination with contractors and regulatory agencies.
  • Conduct infrastructure condition assessments and technical investigations for water and wastewater systems.
  • Serve as Engineer-of-Record for utility projects.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address environmental, geotechnical, and permitting constraints.
  • Work with CAD specialists to develop design drawings.
  • Prepare technical reports, feasibility studies, and other project documentation.
  • Engage with clients and stakeholders during all phases of project delivery.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to quality control processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation in Canada.
  • Minimum 8 years of post-graduation experience in municipal and water infrastructure design.
  • Proven project management and project coordination experience.
  • Strong understanding of both high-level project goals and detailed technical execution.
  • Consulting engineering experience in municipal design with various project delivery methods.
  • Exceptional report writing, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Valid driver’s license in good standing.
  • Ability to conduct fieldwork in varying conditions, which may include remote travel and outdoor environments.
