A well-established development and construction company based in Kelowna is seeking an experienced Civil Foreman to join its growing team. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality civil infrastructure work safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily civil construction activities on site

• Lead crews performing earthworks, servicing, roadworks, and site preparation

• Ensure work is completed according to drawings, specifications, and schedules

• Enforce safety standards and maintain a strong safety culture on site

• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, inspectors, and subcontractors

• Track productivity, materials, and equipment usage

• Mentor and develop crew members and operators

• Identify and proactively resolve site issues

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in civil construction, with foreman or lead hand experience

• Strong background in earthworks, underground utilities, and site servicing

• Ability to read and interpret civil drawings and specifications

• Proven leadership and communication skills

• Solid understanding of construction safety regulations and best practices

• Valid driver’s license (Class 1 or 3 considered an asset)

• First Aid and CSTS/CSO certifications considered an asset
