Position: Civil Project Manager
Location: Site-based (projects across the Okanagan and Kootenay regions; current project in Golden, BC)
Status: Full-Time, Permanent

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Civil Project Manager to lead and deliver civil infrastructure projects throughout British Columbia. This is a site-based role with field work required across multiple locations, depending on project awards. We are open to candidates based in Alberta, including Calgary and surrounding areas, who are willing to travel. A Living Away Allowance (LOA) and vehicle allowance are available to support candidates working away from home.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of civil construction projects

• Prepare cost estimates and submit complete bid packages for new work

• Monitor and manage project schedules, budgets, and contract compliance

• Conduct site visits, inspections, and progress meetings

• Develop and oversee quality, safety, environmental, and traffic management plans

• Manage resources, cost control, progress reporting, and contract change orders

• Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders

• Provide leadership and technical guidance to on-site project teams

Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum 5 years of experience managing civil construction projects

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, field-based environment

• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project)

• Valid driver’s license with a clean abstract

• Post-secondary education in civil engineering, construction management, or a related discipline is an asset
