MatchBox Consulting Group is seeking a Civil Project Manager to join our client in Chilliwack, BC.  

Our client is a proud fourth-generation company that has been operating for over 85 years. During this time, they’ve grown to include six diverse companies, each with a reputation for integrity, quality, and efficiency.

Responsibilities: 

• Uphold EAG Core Values and commit to a zero-injury culture.
• Anticipate project needs, ensure deliverables and plans are prepared, and develop and monitor resource requirements.
• Correspond with subcontractors and major suppliers, prepare contracts, and work closely with management to monitor financial aspects.
• Monitor construction progress, update management, support opportunity pursuits, and estimate bids.
• Provide technical advice, resolve problems proactively, mentor and lead operations staff, and ensure health, safety, and environmental practices.
• Evaluate workmanship, maintain quality standards, solve constructability issues, perform additional duties as assigned, and travel to job sites as required.

Requirements: 

• Post-secondary education in Engineering or Construction Management.
• Over 3 years of Project Management experience.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite and Bluebeam.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract.
