Civil Superintendent – Major Infrastructure Project

Are you an experienced Civil Superintendent looking to lead a high-profile infrastructure project? We are seeking a results-driven professional to oversee the construction of a major project in Calgary, Alberta.

What You’ll Do:

• Oversee planning, scheduling, and execution to ensure timely and cost-effective project completion.

• Monitor overall project progress and implement corrective actions as needed.

• Coordinate and manage administration, scheduling, and construction activities.

• Ensure all contract updates, change orders, and financial records are current.

• Implement and enforce safety, environmental, and quality control policies.

• Maintain compliance with local regulations, union agreements (if applicable), and company policies.

• Lead and motivate project staff, ensuring discipline, morale, and efficiency.

• Review and approve project cost reports, ensuring accurate job profit projections.

• Support bid processes and contribute to strategic project planning.

What You Bring to the Team:

• A technical school background with at least five years of construction experience.

• Experience in the utility contracting industry.

• Strong proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• In-depth knowledge of construction techniques, contract management, and site operations.

• Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships in a team environment.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.
