MatchBox Consulting Group is seeking a Contract Administrator to work on a 1 year contract for one of BC's largest utility and clean energy companies. 

Based out of their Prince George, BC office, this individual will support day-to-day operations, including onboarding, training coordination, and NERC compliance tracking for employees and contractors. They'll also manage permits, tools and asset inventories, site logistics, document control, and internal reporting among other key tasks. Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle diverse administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment are essential.

This is primarily an in office role however, depending on work assignments, there is a possibility to work 2 days/week from home. 

Responsibilities: 
 

  • Coordinate onboarding, training, and compliance requirements for new hires and contractors

  • Manage NERC/Suresite access, PRAs, and training compliance tracking

  • Oversee internal document control, data entry/reporting (e.g., SWO data), and contract printing

  • Track permits (CLRA), keys, assets, and tools (e.g., radios, fall protection gear)

  • Handle logistics for field sites, including trailers, ETVs, Wi-Fi, signage, and rentals

  • Manage calendars for senior leadership, coordinate meetings, and take minutes

  • Support with travel bookings, credit card tracking, and G&T ordering

  • Coordinate FR clothing orders, small service contracts, and POs

  • Support safety training programs (PSSP/WPP), emergency contact updates, and recognition events

  • Assist with fleet management (PMs, rentals, tire changes)

  • Monitor work packages, expenditure tracking, and OT hours

  • Maintain bulletin boards and internal schedules
  • Perform other administrative and coordination tasks as needed

Must haves:
– Intermediate MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) & SharePoint
– Reliability and be able to self start
–  A minimum three (3) years of contract administration work experience or equivalent.
– Must be located in Prince George, BC

Nice to have:
– SAP experience
