Are you a contract management professional looking for a new spark in your career? 

MatchBox Consulting Group is seeking THREE contract management professionals to work on 1-year contracts, all with a high potential for renewal, with one of BC’s largest utility providers. You’ll perform formal management of contracts with low to medium complexity so that projects and ongoing operations are delivered safely, with quality, within budget, and on time.

Candidates located in the Lower Mainland who can come into the Burnaby office 2 times a week are highly preferred, though the client is also open to candidates located across BC.

Responsibilities
* Review and manage contractual obligations of the parties and provide continual review to ensure that all terms and conditions are met; monitor contract performance, including the reporting and status of contractor and BC Hydro deliverables.

* Engage with applicable stakeholders and Contract Management to support resolution of contract issues, including change management, contract disputes and claims management / resolution.

* Perform day to day contract management activities including, but not limited to, attending and/or chairing progress meetings, preparing and issuing meeting minutes, monitoring schedules, expediting, drafting of change documents as required, facilitate change processes, negotiations, support negotiation of claims and disputes as required, forecasting, accrual reporting, validation of payment requests, tracking of contract submittals and other deliverables, monitor document controls and contract interpretation.

* Assists in the design and implementation of innovative strategies to enhance vendor management and optimize contract spend.

Requirements
Must haves:
– A minimum five (5) years of contract management work experience.
– Excellent MS Office skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
– Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Economics, or related discipline, or equivalent

Asset:
– PowerBI experience
