MatchBox Consulting Group is seeking a Development Manager for our client, a leader in Vancouver’s real estate development industry.

Our client has years of success developing in the City of Vancouver as well as other areas of Metro Vancouver. They have also delivered projects in the United States.

Our client is looking for a well-rounded Development Manager with a diversified skill set.  The project pipeline is diverse and covers all asset groups – concrete and wood-frame multi-family, commercial, hospitality, and light industrial. You should be connected within and passionate about Metro Vancouver’s development industry. 

This role is based in Downtown Vancouver.

Responsibilities

• Leading real estate development projects across North America
• Feasibility and due diligence
• Pro-forma
• Management of municipal approvals process and leading the engagement of city officials
• Work closely with construction and marketing to launch and complete a successful project
• Management of external consultant team

Requirements

• At least 2+ years experience as a Development Manager  
• Post-Secondary education in urban planning/geography, architecture, engineering, commerce or similar field is a requirement
• Strong leadership skills
• Adaptable, team-orientated, and highly communicative
