MatchBox Consulting Group is currently seeking a Digital Analytics Implementation Specialist for a 12 month contract role with a client of ours located in Vancouver

Responsibilities: 

• Gathering business questions and translating them into data requirements and specifications for our websites and mobile application.
• Coordinating with developers to implement tracking requirements, providing clear Jira tickets and technical documentation.
• Conducting and coordinating QA efforts on data collection to ensure ongoing quality of data and integrity of our digital analytics implementation across our websites and mobile application.
• Providing ad-hoc implementation support of marketing tags through our tag management system.
• Ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and implementing data governance best practices to safeguard user data and maintain regulatory compliance.
• Conducting regular audits and quality checks to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency. This involves troubleshooting tracking issues, fixing data discrepancies, and maintaining data integrity.
• Ensuring best practices are followed through the implementation lifecycle and help construct data sets for Adobe Analytics/GA4/other analytics tools for use by our team as well as other stakeholders.

Requirements: 

• 2-3 years of experience implementing digital analytics for web and mobile apps
• Strong understanding of and sensitivity towards data integrity and cleanliness
• Solid working knowledge of Adobe Analytics (preferred) or GA4, plus tag-management systems such as Adobe Launch, and GTM
• Comfortable reading and writing JavaScript snippets, using browser dev tools, and interpreting network calls
• Innovative and creative, with a logical and methodical approach to problem solving
• Proven data instincts and clear understanding of the common pitfalls of digital analytics
• Proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing creative solutions
