MatchBox Consulting Group is seeking Electrical Engineers with a variety of backgrounds for renewable contract positions with one of BC’s largest utility companies. Depending on your level of experience and expertise, you will play a role in the successful design, construction, and commissioning of distribution, transmission, and generation projects located province wide. Whether you’re located in Vancouver, Surrey, Kelowna, Victoria, or looking to relocate to British Columbia, there’s a position for you!

Requirements

• Must be a registered P.Eng. with EGBC or able to transfer from another Canadian province
• Must have at least 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering – preferably in Canada
• A minimum of 2+ years of experience in Canada working with at least 1 (preferably 2) aspect(s) of hydro-electric Generation/Substation, Distribution Line or Transmission Line projects is required.
• Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Power Engineering from an accredited post-secondary institution
•  Demonstrated software skills: General programming in MS Excel, EMTP-RV, WinIGS, SES Tools (CDEGS, HIFREQ, ROW Pro, MALZ)
• Must have a valid Class 5 Drivers’ License
