On behalf of our client, Matchbox Consulting is seeking an Electrical Foreman. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the electrical trade, with extensive experience leading crews and managing projects. The Electrical Foreman will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of electrical projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise electrical crews on job sites, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and project timelines.
• Plan and coordinate work assignments, material deliveries, and equipment usage to maximize efficiency and productivity.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to effectively execute project plans.
• Communicate regularly with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to provide updates on project progress and address any issues or concerns.
• Conduct regular inspections of work sites to ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and building codes.
• Mentor and train junior staff members to develop their skills and knowledge within the electrical trade.
• Collaborate with other trades and stakeholders on Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) projects to streamline processes, enhance coordination, and optimize project outcomes.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in the electrical trade, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role.
• Proven experience managing projects with budgets exceeding $1 million.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team
• Strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in residential electrical projects preferred
• Familiarity with industry-specific software and technology.
• Additional certifications or training related to the electrical trade.
