As a Technical Recruiter at MatchBox, you will play a crucial role in sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent to support our client's growth objectives. We are seeking an individual who is hungry, driven, and thrives in fast-paced environments. While experience in recruiting within the engineering and/or construction sectors is preferred, it is not mandatory. We value adaptability, tenacity, and a strong work ethic above all else.

Duties and responsibilities

• Attracting candidates and matching them to positions with client companies
• Developing a good understanding of client companies, their industry, what they do and their work culture and environment;
• Using social media to advertise positions, attract candidates and build relationships with candidates and employers;
• Headhunting – identifying and approaching suitable candidates who may already be in work;
• Briefing the candidate about the responsibilities, salary and benefits of the job in question
• Preparing CVs and correspondence to forward to clients in respect of suitable applicants;
• Organizing interviews for candidates as requested by the client

Qualifications

• 1+ years’ experience as a recruiter or in a similar talent acquisition role, preferably in engineering and/or construction sectors.
• Excellent communication skills – written and oral
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education
• Experience handling a large volume of candidates in various stages of the recruitment process
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Results-oriented with a passion for exceeding goals and driving measurable outcomes.
