MatchBox Consulting Group is proud to partner with a dynamic and rapidly growing developer-builder in their search for a Finance Business Partner to join their Langley-based team.

Our client is an award-winning real estate and construction company with over four million square feet of active and upcoming projects across BC and Alberta. From boutique industrial sites to residential communities, they are known for thoughtful design, quality execution, and disciplined growth.

This is a newly created position ideal for a CPA-designated (or final-stage) professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to make a meaningful impact at the project level. You’ll be the critical finance voice across multiple departments—from pre-construction and development through to delivery—ensuring every project is financially sound and strategically aligned.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead project-level financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis
• Monitor financial risks and opportunities and work with Project Managers and executives to optimize outcomes
• Partner with Accounting Operations to support accurate billing, payables, and month-end processes
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver actionable insights on labour, cash flow, and job costing
• Maintain and enhance financial systems across the full project lifecycle

What You Bring:

• CPA designation (or near completion)
• 3+ years of experience in finance, public practice, or advisory—ideally with exposure to construction or real estate development
• Hands-on knowledge of accounting structures such as JV, LP, and GP
• Strong analytical and communication skills with a bias for action
• Confidence working cross-functionally and proactively solving problems
