Our client is a global industrial solutions company with a specialized technology product line serving the mining sector. They design, develop, and manufacture both software and hardware in-house, delivering innovative monitoring systems that enhance safety and performance in demanding environments. The General Manager will lead the division’s strategy, operations, and growth, overseeing cross-functional teams and scaling the product line’s presence in international markets.

Responsibilities

• Set and execute the strategic vision to position the product line as the market leader in mining technology.
• Oversee product roadmaps, ensuring delivery of high-quality software and hardware solutions on time and within budget.
• Lead, coach, and inspire cross-functional teams across multiple locations.
• Collaborate with customers, vendors, and partners to align development with market needs.
• Drive continuous improvement in quality, efficiency, and innovation across Software Development, R&D, and Production.
• Build scalable operational and technical support systems for domestic and international markets.

Requirements

• Senior leadership experience in technology, industrial products, or heavy industry.
• Strong background in business development and commercial strategy.
• Solid understanding of software development processes and licensing models.
• Proven track record in budget management, vendor negotiation, and customer relationship building.
• Skilled in leading multidisciplinary, multi-site teams and navigating complex operational environments.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a results-driven, hands-on leadership style.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
