Geotechnical Team Lead

MatchBox Consulting is on the hunt for a Geotechnical Team Lead to work out of Vancouver, BC.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, review, and stamp geotechnical work by junior engineers
• Mentor EITs and uphold design and report quality
• Conduct field visits and provide technical recommendations
• Support project delivery across design, reporting, and construction phases

Must-Have Qualifications:

• P.Eng. designation with a minimum of 1 year of stamping experience
• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering
• Excellent written and spoken English (10/10)
• Strong report writing and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and lead small teams

Nice to Haves:

• Experience with LPile, slope stability software, or AutoCA
• Fieldwork experience and familiarity with foundation design, excavation, and retaining walls
• Experience in erosion control or stormwater management
• Master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering
