MatchBox Consulting Group is seeking an Accountant.

Are you an experienced accounting professional looking to grow your career with a dynamic, multi-entity organization? A leading group in the transportation and logistics sector is seeking a full-time Intermediate Accountant to join their Surrey-based team.

This is a rare opportunity to work in a high-growth environment where you will play a critical role in managing intercompany billings, internal transfers, and multi-company financial operations. What You’ll Be Doing:

• Full-cycle accounting for multiple related companies and subsidiaries.

• Managing high volumes of intercompany transactions, internal billings, and reconciliations.

• Preparing journal entries, month-end and year-end closing tasks, and financial reporting support.

• Handling cash flow activities, daily banking, and intercompany funding transfers.

• Collaborating with operations and management teams to ensure accurate coding and expense allocations.

• Identifying and recommending improvements to processes and systems to support growth.

• Maintaining audit-ready documentation and financial records across all entities.

What We’re Looking For:

• 3+ years of accounting experience, ideally in a multi-entity or logistics/distribution environment.

• Strong technical understanding of intercompany accounting and internal financial operations.

• Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or similar) and strong Excel skills.

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of handling complex reconciliations.

• Post-secondary education in Accounting or Finance (CPA not required but valued).

• Hands-on, team-focused, and excited to work fully in-office with a supportive team.
