MatchBox Consulting Group is on the hunt for an Intermediate Architectural Technologist in Edmonton. Led by an award-winning Architect, our client is a comprehensive architectural, interior design, and planning firm situated in Edmonton. Specializing in diverse sectors such as commercial, institutional, industrial, residential, and recreational projects, they prioritize collaboration, teamwork, and leadership development, harnessing technology to inspire creativity. Their mission is to craft inclusive spaces that foster a strong sense of community identity.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with project team to produce precise design and construction documents
- Support project management by preparing work plans and coordinating tasks
- Generate architectural drawings and contribute to specifications
- Lead the development of technical requirements and standards
- Coordinate consultant documentation and assist in tender preparation
- Perform quality control reviews and assist in construction administration tasks
Requirements
- 5+ years of architectural technology expertise encompassing design, contract documents, and construction administration
- Degree in Architecture, Architectural Science, or Architectural Technology Diploma
- Proficient in Alberta Building Code/National Building Code
- Demonstrated comprehension of construction materials and technical assemblies
- Advanced proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
