Responsibilities

• Conduct geotechnical field investigations, soil sampling, and in-situ testing.

• Analyze data to develop design recommendations for foundations, retaining structures, slopes, and embankments.

• Collaborate on multidisciplinary teams for transportation, hydroelectric, marine, and civil infrastructure projects.

• Perform geotechnical modelling (e.g., GeoStudio, PLAXIS) and prepare design documentation.

• Write technical reports, specifications, and contribute to proposals.

• Support construction with technical input and site inspections.

• Work closely with senior engineers and project managers on project execution and client delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Geotechnical or Civil Engineering (Master’s an asset).

• Minimum 7 years of geotechnical consulting experience.

• P.Eng. designation (or eligible within 6 months).

• Strong working knowledge of geotechnical design software (e.g., GeoStudio, PLAXIS, gINT).

• Proven field experience and understanding of Canadian codes and standards.

• Excellent communication skills and team collaboration mindset.

• Willingness to travel to project sites.
