MatchBox Consulting Group is currently seeking an Intermediate Test Engineer for a 6 month contract role with a client of ours located in Vancouver
Responsibilities:

• Working as part of a team, and under the guidance of senior testers, to plan, develop, and execute tests
• Contributing to a test strategy developed by senior testers, to support testing of your team’s product or project
• Understanding the integration of your team’s technology product into the broader application infrastructure, and understand the implementation and risks of your product
• Championing quality guidelines and standards (including Test Engineering best practices) and providing feedback to processes
• Developing and maintaining test automation using the tools provided (including Tricentis Testim/TTA)
• Supporting the Test Engineering Guild in initiatives, undertaking work that elevates and supports the engineering practice
   

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance
• Understand product and project risk, and how to communicate about risks to your team
• Experience building test strategy, and leading test projects
• Experience with test automation record/playbook tools
• Experience with Tricentis test tools, particularly Testim, Tosca, and TTA You have strong oral and written communication skills
