MatchBox Consulting Group has partnered with a respected and growing developer-builder to find an Accounting and Payroll Coordinator to join their team in the Fraser Valley.

Our client is behind one of the largest master-planned communities in Metro Vancouver, with over 700 homes underway and a long-term vision rooted in quality, care, and community. About the Role:

This is a hands-on, detail-focused role that supports both accounting and payroll functions. As part of a tight-knit finance team, you’ll manage full-cycle AP, vendor compliance, payroll, and benefit programs. You’ll also assist with internal policy development, expense reporting, and financial coordination across the business.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Manage vendor invoices and coordinate the internal approvals proces
• Oversee vendor compliance, including WCB, insurance, and T5018 tracking
• Process semi-monthly payroll and administer employee benefits
• Reconcile accounts, handle bank deposits, and support month-end
• Coordinate with legal and finance teams on sales deposit tracking
• Maintain office and kitchen supplies, support small events, and assist with policy rollouts
• Work across departments to improve processes and ensure accurac

???????What You Bring:

• Diploma or degree in Accounting or Business, or equivalent experience
• ???????3+ years managing full-cycle accounts payable (job-costing experience an asset)
• 2+ years payroll experience in BC; working toward PCP designation is a plus
• Strong Excel skills; familiarity with Sage Intacct or Sage Paperless is a bonus
• Knowledge of BC tax rules and Employment Standards
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
• A collaborative approach and a customer service attitude
