About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Project Manager to join our construction management team in Vancouver. This role is ideal for someone with a foundational understanding of construction processes who is eager to develop their project management skills and grow within the industry. You will work closely with senior project managers, site supervisors, consultants, and clients to support the successful planning and execution of high-quality construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects from pre-construction through completion.

• Support the development and management of project schedules, budgets, and scopes of work.

• Collaborate with project stakeholders including architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.

• Prepare and maintain project documentation such as meeting minutes, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and progress reports.

• Conduct site visits and assist with quality control, safety compliance, and project tracking.

• Participate in procurement activities including soliciting quotes, issuing purchase orders, and tracking deliveries.

• Identify and help resolve project issues, proactively flagging potential risks to the senior project manager.

• Ensure effective communication between all project team members.

Qualifications:

• Post-secondary education in construction management, civil engineering, architecture, or a related field.

• 1–3 years of experience in a construction or project coordination role, preferably in commercial or institutional building projects.

• Strong organizational and time management skills with a keen attention to detail.

• Familiarity with construction documentation and processes.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore, or similar) is an asset.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• A collaborative mindset and a willingness to learn and grow.
