Land Surveyor

Matchbox Consulting Group is seeking a Land Surveyor to join one of our clients who are a longstanding and leading geomatics firm specializing in providing innovative solutions across various industries, including energy, construction, and infrastructure. 

Responsibilities:

• Manage survey projects, including wellsite, pipeline, as-built, and legal surveys.
• Collaborate with field crews, drafters, and other surveyors to deliver high-quality results.
• Perform quality control of survey data and deliverables.
• Create and submit project estimates to clients.
• Liaise with clients to understand project scopes and ensure satisfaction.

Requirements:

• Commissioned British Columbia Land Surveyor 
• 5–10 years of experience in legal oilfield surveys.
• Degree or diploma in Geomatics from a recognized institution.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with land survey drawings and Western Canadian Land Tenure systems.
• Client-facing experience and ability to build strong relationships.
