MatchBox Consulting Group is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Marketing & Events Specialist on behalf of a leading real estate development client. This role is ideal for a hands-on marketing professional who thrives in a fast-paced, execution-driven environment, with a strong emphasis on events and experiential marketing.

Working closely with senior marketing leadership, as well as internal sales and leasing teams, you will play a key role in delivering high-impact events and marketing initiatives that strengthen industry relationships, elevate brand presence, and support project marketing efforts.

Key Responsibilities

Events & Experiential Marketing

• Lead the planning and execution of industry events including broker engagements, project launches, sponsorship activations, and corporate hospitality initiatives
• Manage full-cycle event delivery: concept development, budgeting, venue sourcing, logistics, vendor coordination, and onsite execution
• Coordinate all event materials including invitations, registration platforms, signage, branded collateral, and communications
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure seamless and high-quality event experiences
• Support executive participation through preparation of briefing materials, schedules, and onsite coordination
• Track event performance and deliver post-event reporting and insights

Industrial Marketing & Project Support

• Support marketing initiatives across the full lifecycle of industrial development projects
• Assist in the development and coordination of marketing collateral including brochures, presentations, signage, and digital assets
• Contribute to content creation for email campaigns, social media, and website updates
• Maintain and update project listings, marketing materials, and related assets
• Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants to ensure alignment with business objectives and timelines
• Track deliverables, schedules, and budgets for ongoing marketing initiatives

Brand & Collaboration

• Ensure all marketing initiatives align with established brand standards, messaging, and visual identity
• Identify opportunities to enhance brand visibility through strategic communications and storytelling
• Work cross-functionally with internal teams to deliver consistent, high-quality outputs across all channels

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in marketing and/or events, preferably within real estate, professional services, or a related sector
• Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or a related discipline
• Proven track record of successfully delivering events from concept through execution
• Strong project management capabilities with exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong proofreading ability
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
• Self-starter with a proactive mindset and the ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Microsoft Office, and CRM/email marketing platforms is considered an asset
• Established industry network is an asset

Additional Requirements

• Willingness and ability to travel regularly across regional markets
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
• Flexibility to support events outside of standard business hours as required
