Project Planning: Develop and implement project schedules, including daily, weekly, and monthly plans, to meet project deadlines and milestones.
Site Management: Supervise and coordinate all on-site construction activities, including subcontractors, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and quality standards.
Quality Control: Monitor workmanship and materials to ensure they meet project specifications and quality standards, making adjustments as needed.
Resource Management: Manage labor, equipment, and materials efficiently to optimize project costs and resource allocation.
Safety Compliance: Enforce safety policies and regulations on the construction site to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.
Problem Solving: Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction, such as design changes, unforeseen conditions, or delays.
Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily construction reports, progress photos, and records of subcontractor activities.
Communication: Foster open communication with project stakeholders, including project managers, subcontractors, owners, and inspectors, to ensure project goals are met.
Budget Management: Monitor project expenses and ensure adherence to budget constraints by tracking costs, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and reporting financial progress.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with building codes, permits, and other regulatory requirements throughout the construction process.
- Proven experience as a Woodframe Superintendent in residential and/or commercial construction.
- Strong knowledge of woodframe construction techniques and best practices.
- Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to effectively manage subcontractors and construction crews.
- Proficiency in construction project management software and tools.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- High attention to detail and quality.
- OSHA certification and other relevant construction certifications may be preferred.
