Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning: Develop and implement project schedules, including daily, weekly, and monthly plans, to meet project deadlines and milestones.

2. Site Management: Supervise and coordinate all on-site construction activities, including subcontractors, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and quality standards.

3. Quality Control: Monitor workmanship and materials to ensure they meet project specifications and quality standards, making adjustments as needed.

4. Resource Management: Manage labor, equipment, and materials efficiently to optimize project costs and resource allocation.

5. Safety Compliance: Enforce safety policies and regulations on the construction site to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.

6. Problem Solving: Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction, such as design changes, unforeseen conditions, or delays.

7. Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily construction reports, progress photos, and records of subcontractor activities.

8. Communication: Foster open communication with project stakeholders, including project managers, subcontractors, owners, and inspectors, to ensure project goals are met.

9. Budget Management: Monitor project expenses and ensure adherence to budget constraints by tracking costs, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and reporting financial progress.

10. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with building codes, permits, and other regulatory requirements throughout the construction process.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Woodframe Superintendent in residential and/or commercial construction.
• Strong knowledge of woodframe construction techniques and best practices.
• Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to effectively manage subcontractors and construction crews.
• Proficiency in construction project management software and tools.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• High attention to detail and quality.
• OSHA certification and other relevant construction certifications may be preferred.
