MatchBox Consulting Group is on the hunt for a QA Manager in the GTA area. Our client is an entrepreneurial and growing company specializing in nuclear engineering services, offering innovative solutions nuclear clients.
This role involves leading the quality assurance program, managing a QA/QC team, and overseeing audits to uphold the company’s high standards, essential to client satisfaction and business success. It’s an excellent opportunity for someone who takes ownership, values continuous improvement, and wants to play a key role in shaping a growing team.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and maintenance of a nuclear quality assurance program, ensuring compliance with high industry standards.
- Manage and mentor a team of 3-4 QA/QC inspectors, overseeing daily operations and signing off on shipments.
- Organize and prepare for audits, ensuring successful outcomes and maintaining client satisfaction.
- Drive improvements in the QA program to meet evolving client expectations and enhance its value.
- Oversee safety program development and ensure compliance with all quality and safety standards.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in quality assurance with 3 years in nuclear QA and 2 years in management.
- Strong knowledge of nuclear QA standards, auditing processes, and nuclear power operations.
- Proven ability to organize and lead audits, with hands-on experience handling audit inquiries.
- Experience resolving nonconformances and implementing corrective actions.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and risk assessment skills.
