Summary

MatchBox Consulting Group is seeking an experienced Organizational Change Manager to support a large-scale ERP transformation for a leading energy organization. This is an 18-month contract focused on developing and executing change management strategies that drive successful adoption across multiple business units and stakeholder groups, including senior leadership.

Working within an established organizational change management framework, you'll lead change impact assessments, stakeholder engagement, communications, training strategies, and adoption planning while partnering closely with project teams, HR, and business leaders to ensure successful implementation and long-term sustainment of transformational initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute organizational change management strategies for a large-scale ERP transformation.
  • Conduct stakeholder assessments, change impact analyses, organizational readiness assessments, and risk evaluations.
  • Develop workstream-specific change management plans, including communications, learning, coaching, sponsorship, and resistance management strategies.
  • Lead stakeholder engagement activities across all organizational levels, including executive leadership.
  • Partner with HR, Learning & Development, Talent Management, and Business Partners to deliver integrated change management solutions.
  • Coach project teams, sponsors, managers, and business leaders on change leadership and stakeholder engagement.
  • Prepare executive presentations, communications, and change management deliverables.
  • Monitor organizational readiness, adoption, and change effectiveness while recommending corrective actions where required.
  • Identify and manage change-related risks, issues, dependencies, and opportunities across multiple initiatives.
  • Support long-term sustainment planning to embed new business processes and ways of working.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of organizational change management methodologies and best practices.

Qualifications – Must-Haves

  • University degree in Business, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Organizational Effectiveness, or a related discipline.
  • 10–15 years of experience leading organizational change management initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting large-scale ERP implementations or enterprise-wide transformation programs.
  • Strong experience conducting stakeholder analysis, change impact assessments, readiness assessments, and adoption planning.
  • Experience developing communications, training, coaching, and stakeholder engagement strategies.
  • Proven ability to influence and coach senior leaders, project sponsors, and cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex, fast-paced environment.
  • Calgary-based and able to work a hybrid schedule.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Prosci or other Organizational Change Management certification.

  • Master's degree in Business, Organizational Development, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), Operations, or utility organizations.
  • Experience with multi-year transformation programs.
  • Familiarity with structured organizational change management methodologies and continuous improvement practices.
