MatchBox Consulting Group is seeking a Pre-Construction Coordinator to join our client, a rapidly growing commercial and industrial construction firm based in Delta recognized for delivering high-quality projects This is your chance to play a key role in the pre-construction phase, where you will gain exposure to project scoping, design, permitting, and the management of architects and engineers while developing your career.

If you have experience with a Design-Builder, Developer, General Contractor, or Municipality and are looking to take the next step in your career, this could be the role for you!

Responsibilities

• Participate in property development, including project scoping, design, and permitting.
• Assist with the selection and management of architects and engineers.
• Support the team in achieving design and permitting milestones.
• Follow up on project progress and reporting requirements.
• Complete other pre-construction related duties as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Pre-Construction Coordinator on commercial or industrial projects.
• Experience interacting with municipal staff to support rezoning, development, and building permit applications.
• Strong goal-setting and results-driven mindset.
• Excellent interpersonal skills; able to work effectively with diverse personalities.
• Self-motivated, tenacious, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience in design, permitting, and construction in B.C.
• Education in Real Estate, Commerce, Urban Land Economics, Architecture, or Planning.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and/or Revit.
