MatchBox Consulting is on the hunt for a Supply Chain Professional. The Supply Chain Professional Level 2 is responsible for delivering outcomes related to the development and execution of category and project supply chain strategies. This includes leading sourcing events, negotiating contracts, managing supplier relationships, and implementing procurement initiatives for complex and strategic categories. The role involves medium to high complexity assignments with minimal to moderate oversight.
Contract: 1 year
Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement category and sourcing strategies using analysis, planning, problem-solving, and supplier/market research.

Lead multi-stage RFPs, negotiate contracts, and resolve escalated supplier or contract issues.

Maintain productive relationships with suppliers, stakeholders, and internal teams.

Advise on sourcing best practices to improve operational efficiency and future capability.

Deliver assigned sourcing initiatives on time and to quality standards.
Must-Haves
-
Demonstrated experience leading complex, high-value sourcing events.

Experience with public sector procurement is preferred.

Experience with complex IT and/or Corporate-related sourcing.
Nice-to-Haves
-
Experience in categories or infrastructure capital project sourcing similar to large organizations.

Supply Chain Management or Project Management certifications.
