MatchBox Consulting Group is currently seeking a Product Data Specialist for a 12 month contract role with a client of ours located in Vancouver

Responsibilities: 

• Supporting the Sales Tool and Technology Lead in managing and maintaining accurate product data across ERP, B2B systems and any other B2B assets.
• Collaborating with merchandising, planning, and sales teams to ensure timely and accurate product setup.
• Auditing product data for completeness, consistency, and compliance with internal standards.
• Supporting seasonal launches by preparing and validating product information.
• Creating and maintaining documentation for product data processes and standards.
• Identifying opportunities to improve data workflows and system integrations.
• Participating in cross-functional projects related to product data and digital tools.
• Providing training and support to internal stakeholders on product data systems.
• Supporting projects from all members of the Wholesale Operations Team

Requirements: 

• 3 years of experience in product data management, merchandising operations, or related roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel (Tables, Formulas, Charts, vLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred), PIM tools, NuOrder and data management platforms.
• Proven ability to work with large datasets and maintain data integrity.
• Strong communication skills and experience writing professional documentation.
• Ability to work independently and remotely, while collaborating effectively across teams.
• Passion for technology and improving processes through digital tools.
