MatchBox Consulting Group is seeking a detail-oriented Land Development Coordinator to join our client, a leading & dynamic real estate and development company in Western Canada focused on executing industrial development projects across BC.

This role offers exposure to full-cycle development, from municipal engagement to site feasibility, supporting both Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers in delivering high-quality projects. Key Responsibilities

• Support planning and execution of earthworks and municipal servicing infrastructure projects.
• Assist with budgeting, scheduling, forecasting, and contract administration (contracts, change orders, purchase orders).
• Coordinate with municipal authorities for approvals, permits, and inspections; attend planning and engineering meetings.
• Conduct preliminary site investigations, assist in feasibility studies, development proformas, and risk assessments.
• Maintain project documentation, prepare meeting agendas, minutes, and progress reports.
• Collaborate with construction, legal, leasing, and property management teams to ensure seamless project delivery.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, Real Estate Development, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in land development or municipal infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of development processes and municipal approval frameworks.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite; project management software experience is an asset.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and collaborative skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
