Matchbox Consulting is seeking a Project Manager to oversee special projects, for our clients a high end luxury developer builder. The projects portfolio will  single heritage house extensions, presentation centers, and custom houses. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing similar projects. This role involves managing three projects concurrently, working closely with a superintendent and a foreman. The ability to speak Mandarin or Cantonese considered a strong asset.  

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of three special projects: one presentation center and two custom houses.
• Coordinate and manage all aspects of project development, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Ensure that all projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Collaborate with the superintendent, foreman, and other team members to ensure smooth project operations.
• Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors to ensure clear communication and expectations.
• Monitor project progress and performance, making adjustments as necessary to meet project goals.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Prepare and present regular project reports to senior management and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Experience and Education:

• Demonstrated experience as a Project Manager in construction, particularly with heritage house extensions, presentation centers, and custom houses.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.

• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Ability to speak Mandarin or Cantonese is a strong asset
