Matchbox Consulting is looking for a Project Manager for a leading general contractor specializing in heavy civil, structural concrete, water works, and ICI projects. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and billing with the Preconstruction team and Project Superintendent
  • Coordinate contracts, payments, and negotiations with subcontractors and suppliers
  • Attend site meetings with owners and consultants, addressing issues promptly
  • Provide monthly job costing summaries and financial reports
  • Ensure projects meet plans, specifications, and timelines
  • Oversee project close-out processes, including resolving deficiencies and final documentation

Requirements:

  • 5-8 years of Project Management experience in general contracting
  • C.Tech., P.Eng., CET designation, or eligibility for Gold Seal certification
  • Strong skills in estimating, scheduling, budgeting, cost control, and client management
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational abilities
  • Experience with lump sum, Design-Build, and water/wastewater projects is a plus
