On behalf of our client, Matchbox Consulting is seeking a Project Manager for a reputable construction company dedicated to delivering high-quality residential and commercial projects. Job Description: As a Project Manager you will play a crucial role in overseeing the successful execution of construction projects from inception to completion. Working closely with our team of professionals, you will ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Project Planning and Coordination:

   • Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets.
   • Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project requirements are met.
   • Monitor project progress and address any issues or delays promptly.

2. Cost Management:

   • Prepare and manage project budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring cost-effective solutions.
   • Review and approve project expenditures, invoices, and change orders.
   • Implement strategies to optimize project costs without compromising quality.

3. Quality Assurance:

   • Implement quality control processes to ensure adherence to construction standards and specifications.
   • Conduct regular inspections to monitor workmanship and address any quality concerns.
   • Collaborate with project teams to resolve quality-related issues in a timely manner.

4. Client Relations:

   • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
   • Communicate project status, updates, and any relevant information to clients in a clear and professional manner.
   • Address client concerns or requests promptly and effectively, ensuring client satisfaction.

5. Team Leadership:

   • Provide leadership and direction to project teams, including site staff, subcontractors, and vendors.
   • Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment, promoting teamwork and accountability.
   • Mentor and develop team members, facilitating their professional growth and advancement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently while prioritizing tasks effectively.
• Commitment to upholding safety standards and promoting a culture of safety on job sites.
