Matchbox Consulting is on the hunt for a Project Manager located in Edmonds, BC working in a hybrid work model (minimum two days in office and may increase based on business requirements).

Contract length: 1 year

Requirements:

• PMP certification (Project Management Professional) or equivalent from the Project Management Institute.
• Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Excel, and PowerBI for tracking, reporting, and data management.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with a high level of attention to detail.
• Effective relationship-building, facilitation, and leadership abilities.
• Advanced written and verbal English communication skills for professional stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee transmission line maintenance programs across provincial and regional areas, ensuring delivery within budget, scope, timeline, and quality/safety standards.
• Evaluate, batch, and coordinate work packages to support efficient planning and execution of the maintenance portfolio.
• Monitor program performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives, identifying gaps and optimizing processes.
• Ensure regulatory compliance, procurement approvals, and accurate data reporting across programs.
• Lead engineering and screening activities for the Wood Pole Lines & Maintenance portfolio, and support emergency response efforts when required.

Nice-to-Haves:

• 3-5 years of experience in program or project management, ideally in utility, engineering, or construction settings.
• Experience working across diverse stakeholder groups, including engineers, contractors, Indigenous relations, safety, environmental, and field crews.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a track record of identifying process gaps and implementing improvements.
