We are seeking an experienced Tenant Improvement Project Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of commercial tenant improvement projects across Surrey and the Lower Mainland. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a solid background in commercial construction, and the ability to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and client satisfaction.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full project lifecycle from preconstruction through closeout.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, and subtrades to ensure seamless execution of tenant improvement projects.
• Prepare and manage project budgets, schedules, change orders, and cost controls.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and design standards.
• Lead tendering and subcontractor procurement processes, including reviewing bids and negotiating contracts.
• Oversee RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings, ensuring timely responses and approvals.
• Foster strong client relationships and act as the primary point of contact throughout the project.
• Ensure projects comply with local building codes, bylaws, and company policies.
• Support and mentor junior staff, site supervisors, and coordinators as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience in commercial tenant improvements, interiors, or ICI projects.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, building codes, and TI-specific requirements.
• Proven track record of managing multiple projects in occupied and unoccupied spaces.
• Excellent organizational, budgeting, and scheduling skills.
• Proficiency with project management software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar).
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Diploma/Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
