MatchBox Consulting Group is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our client, a respected general contractor with a 40+ year history of delivering high-quality multifamily, retail, commercial, and institutional projects across Western Canada. This is a unique opportunity to oversee multifamily wood-frame and commercial builds in Kelowna, including the chance to bring specialized knowledge to grocery store projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead project delivery from preconstruction through turnover, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, tendering, and contract administration.
• Oversee and coordinate subcontractors, consultants, and internal teams for seamless execution.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations using tools such as SiteDocs.
• Maintain strong client relationships through consistent communication and professionalism.
• Apply specialized knowledge to grocery store or retail projects when applicable.

Qualifications

• Proven project management experience in multifamily wood-frame and commercial projects.
• Grocery store or retail project experience is a strong asset.
• Strong background in budgeting, estimating, scheduling, and contract administration.
• Proficiency with project management and safety compliance software.
• Effective leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
