MatchBox Consulting Group is seeking an Electrical Project Manager for a growing electrical contractor delivering complex commercial, institutional, and infrastructure projects across the Lower Mainland.

Our client has built a reputation for reliable execution, strong client relationships, and practical leadership rooted in the electrical trade. The company focuses on delivering high-quality electrical construction while maintaining a strong culture around safety, accountability, and efficient project delivery.

With a growing pipeline of work across Metro Vancouver, the team is looking to add a Project Manager who can take ownership of electrical scopes and drive projects from pre-construction through close-out.

The Role

The Electrical Project Manager will oversee the planning, coordination, and financial management of electrical construction projects, working closely with field leadership, general contractors, consultants, and owners.

This role suits someone who understands the realities of electrical construction and can balance site execution, scheduling, budgeting, and client relationships.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing electrical scopes from project award through completion
• Coordinating with site foremen, superintendents, and project teams
• Managing budgets, forecasting, and project financials
• Reviewing drawings, RFIs, and change orders
• Planning procurement of materials and major equipment
• Maintaining schedule alignment with general contractors and other trades
• Supporting commissioning, inspections, and project turnover

What They’re Looking For

• Experience managing commercial, institutional, or infrastructure electrical construction projects
• Background in electrical construction, ideally with trade experience or strong technical understanding of electrical systems
• Ability to manage project budgets, schedules, and subcontractor coordination
• Strong communication with site teams, consultants, and clients
• Organized, practical approach to problem solving and project delivery
