MatchBox Consulting is seeking an insightful and dedicated Project Manager for our client, a leading light industrial developer in Greater Vancouver.  

The Project Manager will be responsible for leading large light industrial projects and will possess a strong background in construction management, including excellent leadership skills, strategic thinking, and a commitment to delivering projects on time and within budget. 

Responsibilities: 

• Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines. 

• Oversee all aspects of the construction process, from inception to completion, while maintaining a focus on quality and efficiency. 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless coordination and successful project delivery. 

• Prepare and manage project budgets, monitoring expenses and resource allocations. 

• Provide regular financial updates to stakeholders and address budgetary concerns proactively. 

• Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring clear and consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle. 

• Address stakeholder concerns promptly, maintaining a focus on client satisfaction. 

• Conduct thorough risk assessments and implement measures to ensure the safety and compliance of the project. 

• Uphold the company’s commitment to the highest standards of quality and safety. 

• Foster a collaborative and results-driven team culture, promoting innovation and continuous improvement. 

Requirements: 

• 3+ years of proven experience as a construction project management professional, preferably with experience working on light industrial projects.  

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is an asset. 

• In-depth knowledge of construction processes, regulations, and industry best practices. 

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills. 

• Excellent communication and leadership abilities. 

• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
