Job Title: Project Manager – Wood-Frame Multi-Family Developments

The Role: We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a specialized focus on wood-frame multi-family projects. This role demands a professional with a proven track record in the local Metro Vancouver real estate sector, who has effectively managed projects from inception to completion. Your experience with top-tier general contractors or developer-builders will set the foundation for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all phases of large wood-frame multi-family projects.
  • Engage in strong pre-construction activities, including effective estimating and procurement strategies.
  • Employ robust problem-solving skills to tackle challenges, ensuring project success.
  • Demonstrate expertise in constructability and value engineering.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in wood-frame multi-family project management, specifically within the Metro Vancouver area.
  • A track record of leading at least 1-2 large-scale wood-frame projects from start to finish.
  • Education in Construction Management from BCIT or a similar institution is highly preferred.
  • Strong skill set in pre-construction, estimating, and procurement.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and expertise in constructability and value engineering.
