MatchBox Consulting Group is on the hunt for a project manager. This candidate will lead the management, tracking, and coordination of innovation projects. This includes project management, vendor management, procurement administration, data analysis, and market research. Projects focus on testing and demonstrating new energy management technologies at customer sites, labs, or pilot plant settings.

Duration: 1 year

Responsibilities:

• Manage and deliver technology trials, pilots, and demonstration projects.
• Support program managers on large initiatives and independently manage smaller research projects.
• Transition trials into new product offerings and operational initiatives.
• Conduct data collection, analysis, and quality control for trials.
• Perform market research and gather customer feedback.
• Handle vendor and contract management, procurement, and stakeholder engagement.
• Monitor project progress, schedule, and budgets.
• Organize and lead project meetings, updates, and design workshops.

Must Haves:

• Strong project management skills.
• Customer-focused mindset with the ability to support and coach participants.
• Team player with exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to facilities, suppliers, and customer locations.
• Interest in new technology, energy conservation, and sustainable energy.

Nice to Haves:

• Experience with energy, utilities, or energy management projects.
